Samsung is currently rolling out the Android 12 update based on One UI 4.1 and One UI 4.1.1 on several compatible Galaxy devices. The update has brought a few new features to Android 12 for Samsung Galaxy devices. While many users are still waiting for Android 12, rumors about an Android One UI 5.0 update based on Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 getting Android 13 has begun. Google has also released the beta of Android 13 on some devices. Android beta 13 has given us a preview of what new features we will get on Android 13. Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Android 13 (One UI 5) Update Status
- Unfortunately, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 may not get the Android 13-based One UI 5.0 update.
Most people do not know about the Galaxy Tab S8 series. Samsung has released the Galaxy Tab S8 as a cheap and affordable tool. The Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 has provided specs similar to the current Galaxy Tab S8 series. Samsung did not like the idea of a flag-shaped device in the A-series and has not released the S22, S22+, or S22 Ultra since then.
The Galaxy Tab S8 includes Chipset: Qualcomm SM8450 Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 (4 nm), CPU: Octa-core (1×3.00 GHz Cortex-X2 & 3×2.50 GHz Cortex-A710 & 4×1.80 GHz Cortex-A510) and Adreno 730 GPU, 128GB 8GB RAM, 256GB 8GB RAM, 256GB 12GB RAM and internal storage. We also did not see a replacement for this device. This device was launched with Android 12, One UI 4.1, and is currently running on the latest Android 12 (One UI 4.1-One UI 4.1.1).
Samsung has promised three years of major Android updates for the Samsung Galaxy Tab S8, and they have delivered it. The Galaxy Tab S8 has received three key updates – Android 10, Android 11, and Android 12. The Galaxy Tab S8 is currently running the latest Android 12 update. This could be the third and last major Android update for this device. . This device may have to spend a lifetime on Android 12. Android 13 is less likely to come to Galaxy Tab S8.
The above details are not valid as Samsung has not yet announced the Android 13-based One UI 5.0. It’s just speculation based on Samsung’s renewal policy. The Galaxy Tab S8 can only get an update to Android 13 if Samsung thinks it is too generous.
What’s New on Android 13
According to the Google version, Android 13 will be released in Q3 2022. As we know, Google has already released its 2nd developer preview and has begun wrapping up the beta builder in the developer for testing.

How to Update Android 13 (One UI 5,0) Your Samsung Galaxy Tab S8?

- Tap on Software updates.
- Tap Check for Updates.
- Click Download.
- Tap to Install.
- Click Install Now.

#2. Update the software on your Galaxy Tab S8 with Odin Tools
Follow these simple steps to update your Samsung Galaxy devices with Firmware:
- First, download the latest official Samsung galaxy (SM-X700, SM-X706, SM-X706B, SM-X706U, SM-X706N) Firmware/Flash File.
- Extract (unzip) the firmware file. Recommended using WinRAR or 7-Zip.
- Download Odin Tool.
- Extract the Odin ZIP file.
- Open Odin and execute the file.
- Power off your Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 phone, and go to the Download Mode Follow these simple steps;
- (hold Home + Power + Volume Down buttons / hold Volume Down + Bixby buttons then plug-in cable).
- Connect your Samsung Galaxy phone and wait until you get a blue sign in Odin.
- Add the 1 file of Samsung firmware to AP/PDA or 4 files of Samsung firmware (AP/BL/CP/CSC) to its slots.
- Make sure the re-partition is NOT ticked.
- Click the START button, sit back and wait a few minutes.
