How to fix after update (Android 13) Realme UI 4.0 Fast Battery Drain Problem

Here’s how to fix your phone’s battery draining fast to extend your Realme UI 4.0 battery life:

1. Vibration is like a battery eater! Turn it off

Vibration uses more battery power than a ringtone. You may want to keep the vibration low when you type or receive a message or call notification. But it eats up a significant portion of your battery. Going the other way can significantly extend your Realme UI 4.0 Fast Battery Drain and battery life.

2. Turn on the battery saver

Black wallpaper can surprisingly save your Realme UI 4.0 battery life! If your smartphone has an AMOLED display, you can save battery life by using dark wallpapers. This is due to the fact that the pixels in AMOLED displays only use battery power to illuminate bright colors and do not require power to display dark ones. The simple logic is that fewer bright colors, less power consumption.

3. Turn off features when not in use

We know that Bluetooth, GPS, Wi-Fi, mobile data (and of course a hotspot to share your internet) are among the important functions of a Realme smartphone running UI 4.0. But these functions drain most of the battery. Turn it off when you’re not using it, especially when you’re running low on battery. Switching to battery saver mode and even Airplane mode when the battery is low, will help you keep your battery for a long time.

4. Turn off automatic synchronization

Many apps, including Gmail, Twitter, WhatsApp, and many others, automatically sync data to keep it fresh and offer the latest updates. But remember, the more work your Realme does on the back end, the more battery power it will consume. You can turn this off simply by going to Settings, Google Account, and turning off auto-sync for all apps that you don’t need to get information from all the time.

5. Get rid of widgets on the screen

Do you want to see all the information on the display? Then widgets must be one of your favorite features. But it wreaks havoc on your Realme Fast Battery Drain. You can remove unnecessary widgets to save Realme UI 4.0 battery life.

6. Use dark mode

Its OLEDs are crisp-looking, punchy, and beautiful, to say the least especially when paired with a 120Hz refresh rate and a Quad HD+ resolution like on the UI 4.0. Apart from all that screen-viewing goodness, OLEDs can also help save battery life.

7. Turn on the auto-brightness feature:

Turn on the auto-brightness feature

Another great practice is to turn on the auto-brightness feature. There are times when you’re in low light settings where you don’t need high brightness, but the phone won’t change its settings accordingly. This is also the main reason why your Realme running UI 4.0 battery may drain faster. To avoid this battery drain, we recommend enabling the auto-brightness feature on your phone.

8. Disable unused notifications

We all know how annoying and annoying notifications can be, but we never think about disabling them. There is no doubt that some of the apps are useful and helpful in the optimal speed of your device. However, each notification you receive is part of your battery percentage. There are many useful notifications that you can disable to save your phone’s battery. We recommend preventing these types of apps from sending notifications. You can do it like this:

  • Open the settings
  • Select Applications
  • Now uncheck apps with unnecessary notifications

9. App and software updates:

As mentioned above, newer updates have fixed most of these battery issues. Keeping your phone up-to-date ensures that none of the previous versions affect your phone’s performance. Outdated software can cause a lot of damage to your phone like battery drain, slower processor, and many other problems. Therefore, we recommend looking for updates on your Realme. If they are outdated, simply update them as soon as possible.

10. Check your device’s battery status:

You need to constantly check your phone’s battery status. Keeping your phone battery healthy should be your priority. We recommend charging your device only after the battery reaches 15%. Do not use or touch the battery until it is fully charged.

11. Disable Always-On Display

Disable Always-On Display

It goes without saying that keeping your phone’s display on all the time will drain your battery. Although the new Realme has a dynamic AMOLED display, it still uses a percentage of your battery to display LEDs and light up the screen.

12. Check battery usage:

We often don’t realize that there are unclosed applications running in the background. Whether we use these apps or not, they consume our battery. The best way to analyze an app is to drain a huge amount of your phone’s battery. There is a simple way to restrict such apps on your Realme Android smartphone. Here are some simple steps you can take:

  • Go to settings
  • Select Battery
  • Tap Battery Usage Options
  • Select the option to show full device usage

Here is a list of some common points that need to check for good battery life.

Step 1: Check the system version, if it is too old to cause battery drainage, update it to the latest version. (Settings> Software Updates> check the recent update notification) To check the version (Settings > About Phone > Version).

Step 2: Off the Bluetooth/ Wi-Fi/ Hot-Spot/ location service while not in use, save battery power, and protect personal information.

Step 3: Set & adjust the screen brightness automatically, set the auto screen off for less than 30 seconds. (Settings > Display & brightness > Auto screen off > choose 30 seconds).

Step 4: Clear background Apps and clear caches regularly and use power save mode. To clean cache (Settings > Additional settings > storage > clean storage > safe to clean up > Clear all).

Step 5: Check-in settings>battery>power consumption details, if there is some app that consumes too much battery, use that smartly.

Step 6: Still has a battery drain problem, please send for repair to the authorized service center.

Conclusion:

The Realme is an excellent device for the price and features it offers. The updated UI 4.0 (Android 13) fast-draining battery problem can be solved using the above techniques. Hopefully, these fixes will help your battery last longer than usual. However, if these fixes don’t work, we suggest you get your phone’s battery checked by a professional.
