At the Galaxy S22 series launch event, Samsung officially shared its revised Android update policy, which promises up to four generations of major OS upgrades for several flagships and mid-range Galaxy A series phones and tablets.

The company also revealed potential timings for Galaxy smartphones and tablets in Germany and Malaysia.

So while plenty of Galaxy models will get Android 13 and One UI 5 in the second half of 2022, many others will have to wait until 2023 for their upgrade.
